Luis Raúl Rivera Ojeda
Fundraising Coordinator • Team Leader
Luis R. Rivera Ojeda is a Valencia College student, Assistant Manager, Team Leader, and Fundraising Coordinator who enjoys living life to the fullest and believes deeply in the power of change and second chances. He is currently pursuing a degree in Radiology. By his side is Zeus, his beloved and faithful companion whose soulful eyes speak of the special bond between the two—what Luis describes as “a daily reminder of the beauty of unconditional love and the gift of second chances.”
Originally from Comerío, Puerto Rico, Luis’ passion for baseball, medicine, and helping others is what drives him everyday. Raised in a family that cares more about giving to others than receiving has shaped him into a young adult with a mission to make a positive change in the life of others. To be of guidance and example for those in need. This sense of purpose is personal—rooted not only in his faith and values, but in his devotion to his youngest brother, with whom he shares an unbreakable bond. As Luis shares, every decision he makes is guided by the quiet hope “to be someone his brother can always look up to.”
Luis is also part of the church Centro Restauración Emmanuel (CRE) in St. Cloud, Florida. Forming part of the group “Alcance” whose mission is to expand the faith in Jesus and the power of His love. Also, participating in community activities and part of the softball team called “The Chosen Team”.
Performance Highlights
Luis has been employed with the same company since graduating high school, consistently demonstrating professionalism, loyalty, and dedication. Over the years, he has grown through the ranks—from Smile Maker to Shift Leader, Assistant Manager, and Manager. His longstanding tenure has instilled in him strong values and leadership skills. Luis enjoys working with the youth and being a leader amongst the community to promote happiness and a kind service.
Mentorship & Impact
In addition to his college life, work schedule, and church involvement, Luis serves as a dedicated Fundraising Coordinator for the Jazz Hamilton Arts Foundation, working hard to get the community involved to help each other build a brighter, more sustainable future through the sounds of Notes of Change Youth Music Program. His role within the Jazz Hamilton Arts Foundation helps him be part of the positive impact in the communities and his mission to help others by being a motivator to build a better tomorrow.
As one of the team members for Notes of Change Youth Music Program, Luis works to inspire, motivate, and mobilize local businesses, communities and the youth to be part of the mission to build a better future for the next generation.
Luis is a dynamic servant leader whose faith, compassion, and deep yearning to create lasting opportunities for underserved and marginalized youth and communities position him as our Foundation’s ambassador of hope for generations to come.
